We are proud to announce that Szymon Piotr Sadowski Scholarship has been created at Yale University. It is meant to honor Szymon's extraordinary commitment to Yale and his Polish heritage. The scholarship, at it's current format, is granted to a Yale student who, through actions both in and out of the classroom, has done the most to celebrate and promote Polish culture, history and language. Selection of scholarship recipients is determined by a committee consisting of a representative of a Yale College Dean's office, Saybrook College Master and a member of the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures.
Award Plaque

We have achieved our goal to convert current commencement award into a permanent scholarship and to include it in Yale University Endowement Fund. This first, very important step, assures us of the fund future and helps establish award's position among other scholarships and awards.
The size of the award and the extent to which it can be considered a permanent scholarship will depend solely on the amount of support we receive from private individuals such as you. Moreover, the funds raised will be used to award the scholarship only when a truly worthy recipient emerges. Contributions, which are tax-deductible, should be made payable to “Yale University” and should be sent to the following address:

  Office of Development,
265 Church Street
New Haven, CT 06510-7003
(Attention: Stephen L.Clark Director,ParentGiving ).
